Amerikanischer Bariton Reuben Walker kehrte im März 2017 nach Florida zurück, wo er Schaunard in Puccinis La bohème an dem Festival of the Arts Boca Raton aufführte. Letztes Jahr tritt er als Papageno in Mozarts Die Zauberflöte auf. Im Sommer 2016 wirkte er an der Des Moines Metro Oper als Apprentice Artist mit, wo er als Cardinal Sinceri  in Galileo Galilei von Philip Glass kurzfristig eingesprungen ist. Oft gesucht für neue Werke, Reuben hat Captain Keeney/Ile und Richard Nixon/Intoxication in Weltpremiere an der New Voices Opera interpretiert. Reuben machte in Dezember  2016 Abschluß an der Indiana University Jacobs School of Music wo er zahlreiche Partien auffuhr, darunter Riolobo/Florencia en el Amazonas, Joseph De Rocher/Dead Man Walking, Mr. Scattergood/The Last Savage, Le Bailli/Werther, Pandolfe/Cendrillon, Pimpinone/Pimpinone, und Captain Corcoran/HMS Pinafore. Während seiner Zeit in Bloomington hat er mit Reimagining Opera for Kids sich viel mit Öffentlichkeitsarbeit beschäftigt und hat verschiedene Partien für zahlreiche Schüler in Indiana aufgeführt, darunter El Duende und Payador/Maria de Buenos Aires und Prometheus/The Firebringers (Uraufführung).

Seattle native Reuben Walker returned in March, 2017 to the Festival of the Arts Boca Raton, where he performed the role of Schaunard in La bohème, following up 2016's Papageno in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte. In July of 2016, he stepped in as Cardinal Sinceri in Des Moines Metro Opera's Production of Galileo Galilei.  With New Voices Opera, he has premiered the roles of Captain Keeney in Ezra Donner's Ile and Richard Nixon in Chappell Kingsland’s Intoxication: America’s Love Affair with Oil. Reuben tours southern Indiana with Reimagining Opera for Kids, performing the dual role of El Duende and Payador in Piazzolla’s Maria de Buenos Aires and premiering the role of Prometheus in Chappell Kingsland's Fire. Roles performed with Indiana University’s Opera Theater include Riolobo in Daniel Catan's Florencia en el Amazonas, Joseph De Rocher in Heggie's Dead Man Walking, Mr. Scattergood in Menotti’s The Last Savage, Captain Corcoran in Gilbert and Sullivan’s HMS Pinafore, Le Bailli in Massenet’s Werther and Pandolfe in Massenet’s Cendrillon.
