This is a story about revenge...... and a very disturbing family.

King Agamemnon sacrifices his eldest daughter Iphigenia to increase his own wealth and is then brutally murdered by his wife and her lover. Years later, Elektra takes her revenge.... Will her brother Orest ever help her avenge her father? What lies ahead for her mother and stepfather? This Greek tragedy deals with the deepest and darkest aspects of the human psyche.

Strauss' Elektra returns for a second performance this season, with Heather Green and Anke Berndt taking on the title role.
